Saints, LB Hawthorne agree to terms on 5-year deal

Metairie, LA – The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with linebacker David Hawthorne on a five-year contract.

Hawthorne spent the past four years with the Seattle Seahawks. He has recorded more than 100 tackles in each of the past three seasons.

The 246-pound TCU product has 350 tackles, six sacks, seven interceptions and five forced fumbles in 61 career games with Seattle.
