The New Orleans Saints saw a boy and a family who were dealing with a devastating situation, and they found a way to help, at least for a night.

According to Mike Triplett of ESPN, the team hosted the son of a Louisiana state trooper who was recently killed in the line of duty. Senior Trooper Steven Vincent's son, Ethan, was invited to New Orleans' Sunday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

As Triplett points out, Ethan got the chance to hang out with Sean Payton, Drew Brees, Rob Ryan and even Tony Romo and Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty. The below post was placed on The Louisiana State Police's Facebook page.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); = id; js.src = "//"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

A tip of the cap is in due to the Saints' organization, as well as whoever helped to put this together. Our thoughts go out to Ethan and his entire family.
