Fairfield, CT – Sacred Heart head football coach Paul Gorham is on a medical leave of absence, university athletic director C. Donald Cook announced.
A reason was not given. Associate head coach Mark Nofri was named the interim head coach.
In addition, Kevin Bolis will serve as the offensive coordinator, a role usually performed by Gorham.
Gorham has a 34-51 record in eight seasons at Sacred Heart. The Northeast Conference program finished 5-6 last season.
