Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres recalled forward Mikhail Grigorenko from Rochester following their 5-4 shootout win over the Ottawa Senators on Monday.
Grigorenko, who was selected 12th overall by Buffalo in the 2012 NHL Draft, will join the Sabres for the first time this season after recording three goals and eight points in 43 career games over parts of the previous two seasons.
The 20-year-old Russian has tallied seven goals and 12 assists in 27 games this season for Rochester.
