Buffalo, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Buffalo Sabres activated defenseman Josh Gorges off injured reserve on Tuesday.
Gorges has been out since suffering a knee injury on Nov. 11. In 17 games this season, he has one assist.
The Sabres also placed forward Cody McCormick on IR with an apparent concussion and recalled forward Tim Schaller from Rochester. He has three assists in 21 games this season.
Schaller was also recalled by Buffalo on Nov. 28.
