Alabama coach Nick Saban says his top-ranked team rallied to beat LSU after heeding the example set by the elite Navy team that killed Osama bin Laden.

Walking that sometimes-debatable line between sports and war, Saban says he talked with his players before Saturday night's game about being ready when things went wrong. He cited the mission carried out in Pakistan by SEAL Team Six, which took out bin Laden.

A.J. McCarran guided a five-play, 72-yard drive that rallied Alabama to a 21-17 victory over the No. 5 Tigers. T.J. Yeldon won it on a 28-yard touchdown catch with 51 seconds remaining.

Saban says SEAL Team Six had to be adaptable to changing conditions, "and I think there was a lot of that out there for us."
