The Seahawks offense is a work in progress.

That much is evident through three preseason games, as the first-team offense has yet to string together any type of consistency or sustain drives.

However, part of those struggles could be attributed to the lack of continuity along the offensive line, something the coaching staff is optimistic about now that the starters have been named.

Even so, Russell Wilson remains steadfast in his belief that this group has shown progress throughout training camp and should be ready once the regular season rolls around.

"We're not far away," he said, via the team website. "We've had some unbelievable practices. We go against one of the best defenses in the National Football League every day. Our offense is really clicking in practice, we just haven't translated it quite yet in terms of finishing the drive on gameday but we will. I completely believe that."
