Ronaldinho bags brace to lead Mineiro past Gremio

Atletico Mineiro claimed its first win of the season on Sunday as Ronaldinho scored a second-half brace to lead the club to a 2-0 victory over Gremio.

The Brazil international tallied the opening goal in the 59th minute from the penalty spot, and he sealed the win with a 90th-minute strike that hands Gremio its first defeat of the campaign.

Ronaldinho's goals were his first two of the season, but despite his good form since arriving in the Brazilian league, the former World Player of the Year has been left off Brazil's Confederations Cup squad.
