Roethlisberger active for San Fran game

San Francisco, CA – Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is active for Monday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Roethlisberger sprained his left ankle during last Thursday's 14-3 win against the Cleveland Browns.

After missing Thursday's practice, Roethlisberger was a limited participant in Friday and Saturday's session.

The Steelers (10-3) hold the top spot in the AFC North coming into the game, but need a win to stay there as they are a half-game ahead of Baltimore, which was defeated by San Diego on Sunday night.
