Los Angeles, CA – The Colorado Rockies reinstated pitcher Josh Outman off the 15-day disabled list Friday.
Outman has yet to appear in a game this season, but the left-hander went 3-5 with a 3.70 ERA in 13 games -- nine starts -- for the Oakland Athletics last season.
He was traded from Oakland, along with pitcher Guillermo Moscoso, to Colorado this past offseason in exchange for outfielder Seth Smith.
The Rockies optioned pitcher Drew Pomeranz to Triple-A Colorado Springs to make room on the roster.
