Rockies place Pomeranz on DL

Denver, CO – The Colorado Rockies placed pitcher Drew Pomeranz on the 15-day disabled list Friday with left bicep tendinitis.

Pomeranz has made four starts over two stints with the Rockies this season, losing all of them while compiling a sky-high 8.10 earned run average.

The club filled the roster spot by recalling outfielder Corey Dickerson from Triple-A Colorado Springs. Dickerson made his major league debut last month and batted .212 in 15 games before being optioned on July 11.
