Tennessee Titans nose tackle Sammie Hill is expected to miss three games after undergoing surgery on Wednesday to repair an injured MCL, according to a report from NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

Per Rapoport, Hill is expected to return to the lineup following Tennessee's Week 4 bye.

Hill suffered a different knee injury during OTAs that sidelined him for the beginning of training camp. He played his only game of the preseason last week against the Kansas City Chiefs, exiting after just four snaps. According the Tennessean, Hill suffered his latest injury either last Thursday in practice or during the game against the Chiefs.

The seven-year veteran started 15 games last season and made 34 tackles with three sacks.

Al Woods, DaQuan Jones and rookie Angelo Blackson figure to fill in at the position until Hill returns.
