Okay, here goes. DeMarre Carroll missed Sunday's loss against the Miami Heat with what the team called a "sore right heel":
On Saturday, however, Carroll told the Toronto Sun's Mike Ganter that he's dealing with plantar fasciitis:
Carroll was a big part of the Atlanta Hawks' run to the Eastern Conference finals last year, but he suffered a sprained left knee that limited him over the final three games of the series. He joined the Raptors as a free agent this offseason and has averaged 12.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game for Toronto in 35.7 minutes per game.
