Report: Hawks sign Edgar Sosa to training camp deal

The Atlanta Hawks signed former Louisville point guard Edgar Sosa to a training camp contract, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Sosa, 27, most recently played with the Dominican Republic national team in the FIBA Americas tournament. Hawks assistant coach Kenny Atkinson coached the Dominican Republic, so he has a level of familiarity with Sosa.

Sosa played for the Detroit Pistons summer league team in 2010, before heading to play overseas in Italy, Germany and then Italy again.

The Hawks are heading into training camp with 19 players on their roster.
