Melvin Gordon's lackluster preseason just took a turn for the worse.
The Chargers' first-round pick could miss Saturday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to NFL Media's Rand Getlin.
Gordon could've used the live game reps this week. The Wisconsin product netted only 11 yards on six carries last week, looking skittish and impatient in his first professional action.
He told reporters this week he was focused on the Cardinals' defense. Instead, it'll be up to Danny Woodhead and Branden Oliver -- two backs who outshone Gordon in his last outing-- to do the heavy lifting.
