After long battles and arguments over funding, the new arena being built for the Milwaukee Bucks is already behind schedule.

The Bucks reportedly will have the arena project completed one year later than was originally announced, according to a recent report.

Here's more from Rich Kirchen of the Milwaukee Business Journal:

"The Milwaukee Bucks will complete the arena project one year later than they previously announced and now target an October 2018 opening, said co-owner Mike Fascitelli.

Bucks owners and executives have said for months they planned to break ground this fall in downtown Milwaukee and open by fall 2017. Bucks spokesman Jake Suski told the Milwaukee Business Journal Tuesday afternoon team officials continue targeting the 2017-2018 season which means the arena would be ready by November 2017."
