Dan Beebe is reportedly out as Big 12 commissioner amidst more speculation of conference realignment.

Beebe has been under fire recently for his perceived favoritism to Texas, and Oklahoma was rumored to have been close to jumping to the Pac-12 if the commissioner did not give up his position.

According to the Kansas City Star, Beebe is in the process of doing just that in order to save the conference, which has lost three schools the past two years.

Oklahoma and Texas were rumored to be headed to forming a superconference further West, but the Pac-12 announced earlier Wednesday it has decided it will not add any programs in the near future.
