NEW YORK (Reuters) - Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers has been fined $25,000 arguing with the referees during a game against the Atlanta Hawks, the NBA said on Wednesday.

Rivers became enraged when Boston's Glen Davis was called for a foul against the Hawks' Marvin Williams during the third quarter of Monday's 102-96 Atlanta victory.

The coach was assessed two technical fouls and ejected from the game.
