The Washington Redskins have lost backup linebacker Bryan Kehl and long snapper Nick Sundberg for the season with injuries.

Kehl tore the ACL in his left knee, and Sundberg tore the meniscus in his right knee in Sunday's 31-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Kehl has been a regular contributor on special teams. The Redskins will audition snappers to replace Sundberg.

Coach Mike Shanahan said Monday that rookie cornerback David Amerson is day-to-day while undergoing tests in accordance with the NFL's concussion protocol. Amerson was also hurt in Sunday's game.

Washington hosts the Chicago Bears this Sunday.
