Red Wings top Flames, win 5th straight at home

Pavel Datsyuk and Ian White both registered a 3 win over the Calgary Flames.

Tomas Holmstrom netted a pair of power-play goals for the Red Wings, who returned home after splitting a four-game road trip to earn their fifth straight win at Joe Louis Arena.

The Red Wings' last loss at home came when the Flames posted a 4-1 victory on November 3.

Jimmy Howard made 19 saves in the win.

Jarome Iginla, Brendan Morrison and Olli Jokinen found the back of the net for Calgary, which has dropped six of nine. Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 25 shots in defeat.
