MADRID --
Real Madrid is donating one million euros ($1.1m) to help refugees ''taken in by Spain.''
The 10-time European champion says it made the decision ''with the aim of supporting men, women and children who have been forced to leave their homes in order to flee from war and death.''
The Spanish giant is also considering other measures to help the ''youngest'' refugees.
Tens of thousands of migrants have arrived in Europe recently, many fleeing the war in Syria.
