Ravens tight end Crockett Gillmore is unlikely to play in Thursday night's game against the Steelers, according to offensive coordinator Marc Trestman.

Gillmore, the team's second leading receiver with 10 catches for 151 yards, did not play any offensive snaps in the second half of Sunday's 28-24 loss to Cincinnati after suffering a calf injury.

"With Crockett being out, we have some young tight ends that we really love to coach and ... we expect them to step up and play well for us," Trestman said per ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley after Tuesday's practice.

If Crockett is indeed inactive, the bulk of his reps will likely go to rookie tight end Maxx Williams, a second-round pick out of Minnesota. Fellow rookie Nick Boyle could also see more playing time.
