Owings Mills, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - The Baltimore Ravens have signed running back Bernard Scott.

Scott spent most of last season with Cincinnati on injured reserve because of a torn left ACL, and was released by the Bengals in September. He had been on Cincinnati's physically unable to perform list and did not appear in a game this season.

The 29-year-old Abilene Christian product played each of his first four seasons with Cincinnati and has 1,035 rushing yards with four touchdowns in 47 games. He has also averaged 24.5 yards on 73 kickoff returns.

Baltimore, coming off its bye, had an open roster spot after trading offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie to Miami last week.
