Raptors sign first-round pick Ross

Toronto, ON – The Toronto Raptors signed first-round pick Terrence Ross to his rookie-scale contract.

The eighth overall pick is under contract through the 2013-14 season, with two team option years to follow. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 6-foot-7 Ross was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection as a sophomore last season after averaging 16.4 points and 6.4 rebounds in 35 games at Washington. He averaged 25 points in four games during the Huskies' run to the NIT semifinals.
