Commerce City, CO – The Colorado Rapids announced on Monday that defender Anthony Wallace will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair damaged cartilage in his right knee.
Wallace suffered a sprained left knee in his last appearance on August 5 and the injury to his right knee was discovered while he was undergoing rehabilitation.
The 22-year-old appeared in 10 games for the Rapids this season, starting eight, and he is expected to be out for three months while he recovers.
