Texas Rangers pitcher Alexi Ogando left Sunday's 5-0 win over the San Francisco Giants in the fourth inning with a strained right groin.

Ogando, who was making his first start of the season, was injured while running to first base on a bunt single in the top of the fourth. He was replaced on the basepaths by pitcher Matt Harrison.

The 28-year-old right-hander was working on a perfect game after retiring the Giants in order over the first three frames before Robbie Ross took over.

In 27 games out of the bullpen this year, Ogando is 1-0 with a 2.27 earned run average and one save.
