St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - St. Louis Rams left offensive tackle Jake Long was carted off the field early in the first quarter of Sunday's 23-13 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with an apparent knee injury that the team fears to be a torn ACL, according to to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

"We anticipate the worst for Jake," said Rams head coach Jeff Fisher after teh game. "We'll confirm (it but) we're anticipating a torn ACL."

Long suffered the injury on the Rams' first series and was immediately taken into the locker room for further observation. He did not return to the contest.

The four-time Pro Bowl selection has started all 15 games in his first season with the Rams after signing a four-year deal in March.
