Joey Logano already secured a spot in the Eliminator Round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup with a victory last Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but that did not keep the Team Penske driver from going back-to-back and winning Sunday's race at Kansas Speedway.
The driver of the No. 22 Ford had a fast car throughout the race, but Joe Gibbs Racing's Matt Kenseth was the class of the field. As the two raced hard for the lead in the closing laps, the pair came together at the entrance of Turn 1, with Kenseth getting the worst end of the deal.
Logano went on to score his fifth victory of the season, while Kenseth finished a disappointing 14th.
Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, Ryan Blaney, Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski and Jeff Gordon rounded out the top 10.
