Sam Hornish Jr. will start on pole for Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series Mid-Ohio Challenge at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Hornish Jr. turned the fastest lap at 96.374 miles per hour. Owen Kelly will start second, laying down a lap of 95.877 mph.
Ryan Blaney, Elliott Sadler and Daniel Suarez rounded out the top five.
