London, England – QPR acquired fullback Armand Traore from year-old to a three-year contract.
Traore joined QPR on an undisclosed transfer fee, just days after playing in an 8-2 loss for Arsenal against Manchester United. It was his first appearance in the Premier League for Arsenal in the last 15 months.
He signed with Arsenal in 2006 and spent time on loan with both Portsmouth and Juventus.
"When I talked to (QPR coach) Neil Warnock he was very passionate about what I could bring to the club," Traore said. "He was very motivated about playing me week in, week out, and that's what I need at this stage of my career.
"I've not been able to prove and show what I'm all about because I've been at two big, big clubs like Juventus and Arsenal.
The French-born Senegal international is the third signing since businessman Tony Fernandes took control of QPR. Joey Barton left Newcastle and Luke Young left Aston Villa to join the promoted side.
