Josh Johnson scored 16 points to lead hot-shooting Presbyterian over Navy 60-58 on Sunday. The Blue Hose (7-8) shot 13 for 20 from the field (65 percent) in the first half and finished 20 for 37 (54.1 percent). Presbyterian also made 14 of 17 from the free-throw line (81.4 percent) in the first meeting between the two schools.

Pierre Miller scored 12 points, Khalid Mutakabbir added 11 and Al'Lonzo Coleman 10 for the Blue Hose.

Mutakabbir made one of two free throws to extend Presbyterian's lead to 60-58 with 30 seconds left to play.

The Midshipmen (4-11) missed two shot attempts on their final possession to seal the win for Presbyterian. Jordan Sugars scored 18 and J.J. Avila added 13 for Navy, which has lost five consecutive games.

Presbyterian's defense held the Midshipmen to 34.6 percent from the floor (18 of 52).
