Piszczek pens new Dortmund deal

Dortmund, Germany – Borussia Dortmund announced on Monday that defender Lukasz Piszczek has signed a new five-year contract that ties him to the club until 2017.

The Poland international moved to Dortmund in 2010 from Hertha Berlin and established himself as a regular in the team.

During his time with Dortmund, Piszczek has lifted back-to-back Bundesliga titles as well as the DFB-Pokal Cup last season.

The 27-year-old has started seven of Dortmund's eight league matches this season.
