Pistons re-sign G Stuckey

The Detroit Pistons re-signed guard Rodney Stuckey on Saturday.

Last season, Stuckey played in 70 games for the Pistons and led the team in scoring (15.5 points per game) and assists (career-high 5.2 per game). He also averaged 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals.

Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars said Stuckey is "part of the young core group of players that we are building around."

The 15th overall pick in the 2007 draft, Stuckey has averaged 13.6 points, 4.5 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 279 career games with Detroit.
