The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired right-hander Jeremy Hellickson from the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for minor-league right-hander Sam McWilliams, FOX Sports Insider Jon Paul Morosi reports.

Hellickson, 28, went 9-12 with a 4.62 ERA in 27 starts this past season. He struck out 121 batters and walked 43 in 146 innings.

In his six-season major-league career, he is 49-48 with a 3.94 ERA and a 6.7 K/9 ratio. Hellickson won the 2011 AL Rookie of the Year Award with the Tampa Bay Rays.

McWilliams, 20, was 0-2 with a 3.27 ERA in seven starts in the Gulf Coast League (rookie level) in 2015.
