Penn State QB McGloin, Drake in reported fight

Penn State starting quarterback Matt McGloin and wide receiver Curtis Drake were reportedly involved in a fight after practice Saturday.

According to a statement issued by the school, the university's police was called to the locker room to investigate the report about the fight.

"McGloin was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center where he was examined, treated and released," the school said in a statement. "Campus police and Penn State's Office of Judicial Affairs will investigate the incident and report results as they would for any other student involved in an incident on campus."

The Patriot-News reported McGloin was taken to a local hospital for treatment for a possible seizure.

McGloin has completed 125-of-231 passes for 1,571 yards and eight touchdowns against five interceptions this season. Drake, a backup, has made five catches in eight contests.

The Nittany Lions are preparing to play Houston in the TicketCity Bowl on January 2.
