NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Pittsburgh Penguins, already playing without Sidney Crosby, will be missing fellow All-Star center Evgeni Malkin for Thursday's NHL game at New Jersey because of an undisclosed injury, the team said on Wednesday.

Bylsma would not reveal the nature of the injury or say how long the Russian might be sidelined. The Penguins' third leading scorer, Malkin has not scored a goal in six games.

Crosby has missed the past six games with a concussion.
