Paulino suspended 100 games

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Detroit Tigers minor league catcher Ronny Paulino has been suspended 100 games without pay after testing positive for exogenous Testosterone.

Paulino, who has played eight seasons in the majors, is on the roster of the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens of the International League.

He didn't appear in a major league game last season and last played in the majors in 2012 when he appeared in 20 games with the Baltimore Orioles.

In 573 career games with the Pirates, Marlins, Mets and Orioles, Paulino has 33 homers and 216 RBI while hitting .272.

In addition, Seattle Mariners minor league outfielder Cavan Cohoes has received a 50-game ban without pay after testing positive for metabolites of Stanozolol and substance related to the anabolic androgenic steroid Stenbolone. He is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Arizona League Mariners.
