Montreal, QC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Montreal Canadiens announced on Wednesday that forward George Parros was released from a local hospital and will miss an indefinite period of time with a concussion.

Parros was removed by a stretcher during the third period of the Habs' season- opening loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, after falling awkwardly to the ice face first in a tussle with Colton Orr.

The 33-year-old Princeton product remained conscious during transport, and was not found to have suffered any facial fractures.
