Charlotte, NC – The Carolina Panthers have re-signed defensive end Antwan Applewhite.
Terms were not immediately disclosed.
Applewhite joined the Panthers last October and compiled 25 tackles with two sacks and one forced fumble in 12 games, starting one.
The 26-year-old San Diego State product spent his first three NFL seasons with the Chargers, appearing in 31 games with 13 starts. He has 5 1/2 career sacks and 93 tackles.
