The Jeremy Lin bandwagon is going to have to add some new carriages.

Former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is the latest to jump on board the Lin express, showing off her newly-purchased "Linsanity" T-shirt in New York on Thursday, TMZ reported.

Palin told the celebrity website's reporters that she considered the much-hyped Knicks player an inspirational "American story ... [that] unifies our country."

However, the former governor of Alaska could not pick whom she likes more: Lin or Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, both of whom share religious values and careers that went from good to outstanding in a very short time.

From Feb. 6 to 14, Lin was mentioned more than 2.6 million times on social media and Twitter, more than any other NBA player -- even more even than President Barack Obama -- the newspaper reported, citing a study completed by social analytics company General Sentiment.
