Green Bay, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss a fifth consecutive game as he continues to recover from a fractured collarbone, with the team declaring him out for this weekend's matchup with the Atlanta Falcons on Friday's final injury report.
Head coach Mike McCarthy said that Matt Flynn would draw the start in Rodgers' place despite struggling mightily during the Packers' Thanksgiving Day loss at NFC North-rival Detroit.
Rodgers suffered the injury on the opening drive of Green Bay's clash against Chicago on Nov. 4. The Packers went on to lose that contest and haven't won since the 2011 NFL MVP has been sidelined, going 0-4-1 over their last five tilts.
Flynn helped rally Green Bay to a 26-26 tie against Minnesota in Week 12 after replacing an ineffective Scott Tolzien in the second half, but had a rough go of it in last week's 40-10 shellacking by the Lions. The journeyman completed just 10-of-20 passes for 139 yards while being intercepted once and sacked seven times.
