Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has missed practice because of a head cold but is expected to return to the field Wednesday.

Coach Mike McCarthy says Rodgers will be fine after being excused from practice Tuesday due to the illness. He says Rodgers is one of the "thousands" of people with a head cold from catching a bug.

Vince Young, Graham Harrell and B.J. Coleman got more reps Tuesday vying for the backup job behind Rodgers, the 2011 NFL Most Valuable Player.
