Green Bay, WI – Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins will miss the rest of the season with a neck injury.
The 28-year-old sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of Green Bay's 30-23 win in Carolina on Sunday when he attempted to tackle Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart. Collins was removed from the field on a stretcher and spent the night in a Charlotte hospital.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy, during his Monday press conference, said it was too early to determine if Collins would require surgery.
Collins recorded 70 tackles and four interceptions last season for Green Bay.
