Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo has been fined $65,000 and suspended for one game by the club after he was involved in an altercation with teammate Erik Lamela.

Osvaldo reportedly punched Lamela in the dressing room after Friday's 2-0 defeat at Udinese, and the club has taken action by fining him the maximum amount allowed under league rules.

The 25-year-old will also not be allowed to take part in Sunday's match against Fiorentina, although he will be permitted to train with the team during his ban.

Osvaldo leads the club with five goals in 12 league appearances this season, while Roma enters the weekend in sixth place in Serie A.
