Baltimore, MD – The Baltimore Orioles recalled pitcher Jake Arrieta from Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.
Arrieta started four games for the O's earlier this season and went 1-1 with a 6.63 earned run average.
The 27-year-old right-hander last pitched for Baltimore on April 21, when he gave up five runs on two hits and five walks over four frames in a 7-4 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
