Denver, CO – Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn each looked sharp, 10 preseason win over the Buffalo Bills.
Orton played into the second quarter and connected on 10-of-13 passes for 135 yards, including a 13-yard TD pass to Willis McGahee. He led Denver to a pair of touchdowns, the other a one-yard run from McGahee.
Quinn was moved up to second string instead of Tebow for this game and came in for the final possession of the second quarter. He played the entire third quarter too and ended 10-of-16 for 130 yards with an interception, but also tossed a 24-yard pass for a score to Britt Davis.
Tebow, who played the final quarter, attempted just two passes, completing one for 10 yards.
Ryan Fitzpatrick went 6-of-16 for 44 yards and was picked off in the start for the Bills. He played the entire first half. Tyler Thigpen ended 11-of-20 for 118 yards and a 13-yard score to Felton Huggins in the fourth quarter. Brad Smith connected on all four of his passes.
Bills running back Johnny White was carted off the field and taken to the hospital with an apparent head injury.
