New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Denver Nuggets forward Jordan Hamilton was suspended one game by the NBA for punching Oklahoma City's Steven Adams in the shoulder, the league announced Wednesday.

The incident occurred during the fourth quarter of the Thunder's 105-93 win in Denver on Tuesday. Hamilton was given a Flagrant Foul 2 and an automatic ejection for his actions.

Hamilton will sit out Denver's game at Phoenix scheduled for Friday.
