Dallas, TX – Dirk Nowitzki poured in 27 points and the Dallas 99 win over the Southwest Division-leading San Antonio Spurs Saturday night at American Airlines Center.
Jason Terry scored 17, Rodrigue Beaubois added 16 points and Jason Kidd contributed 14 points with 10 assists for the Mavericks, who won their third straight and are within 4 1/2 games of first place in the division.
Danny Green and Tim Duncan each scored 17 to pace the Spurs, who had a three- game winning streak broken. Tony Parker ended with 13 points and 11 assists, and Tiago Splitter scored 15 in defeat.
