Norwich City signed midfielder Korey Smith to a one-year contract extension Friday.

The 21-year-old Smith made his debut for Norwich in 2009, and helped the squad win back-to-back promotions from League One to the English Premier League. He played 12 matches with Championship club Barnsley on loan last season.

"It's feels good to sign," Smith said. "The last three years have been great for the club, and I'm looking forward to getting involved with the squad."

Norwich City finished 12th in the Premiership last season, and will have a new manager, Chris Hughton, next season.
