Something North Carolina does well happens to be a season-long weakness for Villanova.

And that could be a big problem for the Wildcats on Friday when they meet the Tar Heels in their NCAA tournament opener.

North Carolina was already deep into the season when Roy Williams decided to stray from his normal coaching philosophy and ask his team to play with a smaller lineup. The Tar Heels (24-10) have now hit 255 3-pointers — almost eight a game.

Defending on the perimeter has been a bugaboo for Villanova (20-13). The Wildcats have given up 30 more 3-pointers than they've scored.

If the eighth-seeded Tar Heels get past the ninth-seeded Wildcats, it will be the milestone 700th career victory for Williams.
